Two specific questions about OBL

First, did we not see a photo of him shot in the head already? If so, what is the debate about releasing the picture?

Also, that house was big, but not luxurious. So why are they calling it a life of luxury while he lived in the equivalent of a prison with as many as 35 other people?

(BTW, that photo the man's beard was not as gray as OBLs last photo)

Because everything is relative. Is it a mansion compared to what you find in Great Falls? No. Is it a mansion compared to the cave everybody thought he was in, heck yes.

Everyone needs to let it go. There is no one here that needs to know anything. You are compromising others safety by discussing this. I am not referring to just DCUM, but the news in particular. The man is a mass murderer. What else do you need to know?

If we release a gruesome photo of OBL, then there is sure to be backlash from OBL supporters. Remember the concern when pictures from Abu Gharib emerged?

As for the mansion, I think that it is the wrong term. It was definitely a large compound, however, that ought not to have gone unnoticed by officials in the area.

There is going to be backlash anyway. Relese all photos; it won't shut up the conspiracy nuts. Obama should have learned something from the birthers because now there are the deathers! We see gruesome photos all the time and I do not think this will pic will harm our delicate eyes. Show the damn thing. Abu Gharib and a pic of a deal OBL is not a comparison. Abu Gharib was torture by Americans which was unconscionable; OBL is proof that this devil is dead.

Having spent a fair amount of time in developing countries, including South Asia, it was def a mansion by those standards: beds, carpeting, AC, separate rooms, multiple floors - he was living large. And if you spent some time there, then you would want to live in that manse as well.

Having images to spread around the internet escalates violence . How would you have responded to Abu Gharib had you not seen the photos? Images are shocking in a way that words are not.
