Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
|
a girl friend and I are getting together for dinner wed night (I know, I'm a procrastinator) and I have no idea where to go. She works in Annandale, I work in Alexandria.
She has to go to Bethesda after dinner, and we'd rather not go into the city. Arlington would be great. Food preference would be somewhere that has great salads and/or lighter foods. We're both trying to prep for summer so nothing too heavy.
price range is somewhat flexible, but unless the food is really good I'd rather not spend more than $40 each. TIA! |
| Tons of options in shirlington...Carlisle grand is great. |
| Just had brunch at Liberty Tavern in Clarendon. Good food and service. If you like Asian, Cafe Asia in Rosslyn. |

Actually, Carlyle Grand should have good salads. I'm not normally a salad-orderer, but I order salads at that chain's restaurants sometimes.
The PP's suggestions of Liberty Tavern and Cafe Asia are good ones. Asia is asian fusion, so there's all sorts of cuisines represented. (they have a great panang curry, btw.) |
