Willow springs AAP - kindly input your experiences/information

Hi,

My DK got selected for level 4 AAP at WS.
I am attracted with a few things like FLES program, chess club, math counts etc.
But I donno the quality of AAP.

Besides the fact, that I have no intentions of keeping my child at the base school.
(kid complaining that classes are boring). I would like to know, what my child
is getting into.

I was at the orientation meeting today and was not impressed. It seemed the big focus was on parents teaching their kids their multiplication tables and making sure they had organization and time management skills. Maybe the program is good, but they sure weren't selling it well - in fact, I had the impression they were trying to discourage parents from sending their kids. Anyone else there?
