Anyone else feel like their going CRAZY deciding on a preschool ???

| I've been trying to decide on a preschool for my 2.5yo. I'm literally making myself sick trying to decide. One day I'll be sure we should do Montessori then the next day I'm convinced that my dc needs to have a traditional preschool experience. The following day I'll be convinced foreign language immersion is the way to go. HELP !!! I'm sure dc will do fine anywhere but I'm just so indecisive..... |

I felt the same here. I read tons of reviews online, talked with many coworkers who had similar aged childrens. I also visited quite a few centers. I visited some of them 4 to 5 times.
My advice, do your research, pay them visits, eventually you have to follow your gut feeling. |

| I hated the whole pre-enrollement experience. It was so nerve wrecking, I'm shocked I didn't give myself an ulcer. |

It won't matter in 20 years so relax and stop acting like this is a life or death decision. Get some real problems.

I feel the stress of it...
We were all set on a school and then heard about issues on the management side etc. etc and now have no idea if that filters through to the classrooms. Sigh. Back to the drawing board? I have no clue. I really just want my little one to be happy at his school, I'm not so terribly concerned by the teaching philosophy. |

| i was like that back when....drove myself nearly nuts. did end up going with my gut, the place where they really seemed to like my kid and where it worked logistically for me. turned out i loved the place but i do suspect my son would have been happy in alot of different places and so would i. essentially, everything is a tradeoff (montessori vs. language immersion), all the schools are good otherwise you would have eliminated them long ago. if all else is equal, then pick based on logistics or cost or something else. know you did your best with the info you had at the time. that's all you can do. |
