Replacing just one window?

We have one old window we want replaced - most places just seem interested in replacing windows in entire houses.

Cany anyone recommend a company that would replace just one window?

Where are you located? I would think anyone would sell you one replacement window. We've used R&R Blinds in Del Ray/Alexandria and they are a great family owned small business specializing in doors, windows, and window coverings.

i once had a broken window in a condo, and no one would replace just that one window. so i had to replace them all. good luck.

Do you need the glass replaced or the whole thing (sash etc.)? Aren't there glass services that can replace the glass?

American windows is doing just 2 for us. They are in VA though and I don't know if they work in Md.

We've done it twice - one time just one window and another time where we replaced five windows. We used small contractors both times. Both guys had done windows many times and we had seen their work so knew they were good. The good thing about using a contractor rather than a window company is that our guys would repair rotting wood and other issues which window companies often will not do.

I would contact Creative Windows-although they are a big window company, their customer service is excellent and they may very well replace one windown in between their big projects.
