Happy Hour Recs - Tonight!

My friend and I have managed to wrangle babysitters/husbands and schedules to allow us to go out after work tonight. Just realized that our go-to (Matchbox) has to be avoided because of the Caps game, and I'm at a loss for a non-chinatown/penn quarter spot.

We're low key, mid-30s, girls. I'm wearing jeans and flats, looking presentatble but not especially trendy or dressy. She'll probably be the same.

Need to stay walking distance of a metro, and woudl love to sit outside & enjoy some food or drink specials

Bar Dupont at Dupont is nice and has a lot of outdoor seating. And there won't be any hockey freaks there, that's for sure

What about Barracks Row/8th Street? Lots of options as far as places go (including a Matchbox), and an easy walk to Eastern Market metro.
