Ugh. Lame. Either give a good analysis or go back to bed.

If someone was asked to describe your family, they'd say trustworthy and dependable. You guys never doublebook your schedules, are always punctual and your vehicles are always up to date on their yearly maintenance. You could afford flashy clothes but you choose to dress in classics and carry discreet, non logoed purses. You are a SAHM and your husband is in banking or business. You have a good nest egg and the kids will grow up with trust funds.

You are romantic at heart and are planning a renewal of vows ceremony for your next milestone anniversary. You have regular couple time and have just started taking ballroom dance lessons together. Neither of you is a dancing natural, but you are having fun and that is what counts. You are too embarassed to dance in public but you hope to be proficient enough to show off your skills at your vow renewal. The kids are slightly embarassed at your PDAs but having the two of you as an example will serve them well when they grow up and have relationships of their own.

You both agonized over Ann verus Anna and Lauren verus Laura with your spouse, but the more current name won out each time. Your home looks like a page out of the Pottery Barn catalog and the kids are close in age and play well together, they are best friends. All the girls are very much into art and their artwork--drawings and painted clay objects--has filled up many shelves in their room. You drive a white Infiniti, wear Banana Republic clothes, and enjoy Californian wines.

Okay I will take on these two names.

Elijah was from your first love who you never married despite the fact that he was in a Christian rock band that performed at all the mega-churches in southwest Texas and Louisiana. You worked at Sonic for 30 hours a week and rose to the rank of manager but wouldn't take the job because you thought it was a poor reflection on your communications degree from SMU. To supplement your income your lover talked you into pole dancing at a bar where the roustabouts from the oil fields hung out. You did so well there with tips because of your special "mid-air arabesque" that you could quit your job at Sonic and still work only 30 hours a week, albeit nights. At any rate you got home at 4 one morning and your lover got home a few minutes later. You were both exhausted and didn't bother with a condom. Eight and a half months later, Elijah was born, and you named him after the lead guitarist in the rock band who your lover really, really dug.

Three months later your lover dumped you, and your mother talked you into moving back to Destin where she and your dad retired. You got a job at the Air Force base writing press releases and met a young captain who thought you were cool. You got married and he got promoted and now is at the Pentagon working for the Air Force Chief of Staff. You had Faye about two years ago and in reparation to your mom for saving you from your lover and southwest Texas, named the child after her mother, Faye.

You now live in Burke and have a nice business as a professional organizer and your husband was just promoted to a colonel. Congratulations.

Not very close, but creative! Oddly, Faye is in honor of my maternal grandmother (who had a foreign name that was very close).

Behr is your miracle baby, you had him after a long struggle with infertility and many miscarriages. Behr is extremely precocious and was an early talker but late walker. He is the only grandchild on at least one side of the family and so is very doted upon. You worry about Behr so much, you have never used a nonfamily babysitter. Behr was a family name from the maternal side. You chose to hyphenate your name. Both of you are working full-time but you are thinking of cutting back your hours/switching to a more family friendly job so you can spend more time with Behr.
