Virginia Governor's School (summer residential program in the humanities)

Does anyone have a child who has participated in this? What can my DC expect?

I did this in high school, but for music-- we were with the humanities group for non-music group activities. It was a blast. In the early 90's, it was held at the University of Richmond. It felt like a mini college experience. Great instructors, lived in dorms, small classes, lots of arts exposure--went to the theatre in the city of Richmond fir example. Will never forget it.
