Getting desperate and seeking suggestions on quality home day care in N. Alex/Arlington

We are seeking your recommendations for full time home day care in Northern Alexandria/Arlington/Crystal City. We're also interested in suggestions on child care centers, although we've contacted dozens and most have extremely long wait lists. We're trying to find quality child care beginning in August/September for a 3 month old.

Most of the daycare centers we recently contacted in Arlington didn't have openings until September 2012.

Have you looked through the Arlington County In-Home Daycare list? I would just start making a bunch of calls at this point. Good luck!

Yes, I've been making my way down the Arlington County and the VA State Child Care list but am really interested in what others have experience first hand and any recommendations/suggestions based on that experience.

You could try my DD's in home day care provider, Lisa Wills. Her number is 703-807-0797. She is great, my daughter has been going there since she was 10 weeks and we are very happy. She's right by Clarendon.

my daughter has also been going to Lisa Wills since she was 4 months old, and I couldn't be happier with her and her staff. My daughter loves going to "school" there, and Lisa and the teachers are very warm and caring. it's clear they really adore the kids.
