What is price range of homes that feed into these 4 Alexandria schools?

For MacArthur, I would say $400,000 and up. There are also some decent condos w/ up to three bedrooms that sell for less.

I can only speak to Lyles Crouch, but I think you could only find a small (2 bd) TH in that price range or something that is totally outdated. Even the less expensive places are going for more than $700k.

Remember that for Lyles -Crouch you are not guaranteed admission. The alternative school is Jefferson Houston which is a poor performing school.

The budget is fine for any of those schools listed.

PP, why would OP not be guaranteed admission into LC if she's in the attendance zone? The school is no longer open to a lottery. Are you referring to instances when the they are at capacity?

Charles Barrett will work for that range. There is a cute one now on Chalfonte for 699. (the photos look like maybe the kitchen needs updating) You can probably find something small in the MacArthur district. Mason, maybe not. I think 600-700 may be too low for mason.

They are at capacity now and if you call the school they will tell you themselves that moving into the boundary is not a guarantee of admission.
