After much thought I'm voting for Patrick Mara

The city government and legislature needs some shake up. I think they've become complacent and even well meaning actors like Catania and Evans seem to have drowned in the fray. I think Biddle is a fraud and Orange is a bit crazy. We need checks and balances not a rubber stamp one party system. I think those people who voted for Gray made a huge mistake and Kwame Brown was an even bigger mistake and one more obstacle in their way would be a good thing. HE may not win. Scratch that, he won't win but I think a message needs to be sent to the city council.

Crap, I can't even write it out. I hate that the DC democratic party has forced me to do this. I'd actually prefer Weaver, but think Mara (who I like) has a better chance of winning.

Completely agree, PP, and am voting with you. The city council is a mess (and I miss Carol Schwartz...another R who drew a lot D votes!)
