You love your laser hair removal

So, tell me which body part(s) you went for? I have 2 groupons I need to use before they run out. I'm not a particularly hairy girl (hair on my lower legs is practically invisible in winter, when I'm pretty lazy about the shaving). However, I do have 5 or 6 dark, strong, wiry CHIN hairs (ew!). No scary "mustache" type hairs. Great natural eyebrows, that's not an issue. Would love to never have to bikini shave again (who wouldn't).

Any advice? If you've done a laser treatment or two, please instruct me!

Go for bikini or underarms. Legs are very expensive and hard to treat Your groupon may not apply to them.

Did my whole body and I am so happy! Full legs, brazilian, underarms, and forearms. Works like a charm if you choose the right place with the right laser. If you are darker skinned make sure they use a YAG.

You have to do the full 6-8 treatments with touchups in between though. It took about 1 year. The results were excellent. Havent shaved anything in over 1 year. Considering I was waxing every month it has more than payed for itself.

I've done underarms and bikini area.
After 6 treatments for both, I can see a different in my bikini area. I still do touch up shaves or plucking from time to time.
Underarms are an entirely different story. I still have to shave every.single.day. I honestly don't see a difference, and that's disappointing.

Where did you go?

Roops, if you're willing to share, I'd love to know who you used since you had such great results! I'm afraid to choose someone just on price.

What's a YAG?

I've had it done twice on underarms and bikini. The first time was around 2000. It came out ok, but after about 5 years the hair was back to the point where I wanted to do it again. The second time, about 2 years ago, I went to Celadon in DC. I couldn't finish the full treatment because I got pregnant (I think I had about 4 treatments). Most of the hair was gone, though. The bikini area is still very sparse and I don't shave much (I only did the bikini line, not all of it or even a Brazilian). When I do shave, I don't get irritated like I did before. The underarm hair is back quite a bit, but it's a lot finer so it shaves much better (before, it was so thick and wiry, I could never get a clean shave).

I do wonder if pregnancy messes with it a bit, since it has such an impact on hair growth.

The tech at Celadon said they don't generally recommend facial hair (chin, specifically), because while you can get the hairs that are there, others might grow in at a later point (whereas, with other areas, what you have now is what you're going to have indefinitely).
