This just sucks. I am 28 weeks, and after a blissful pregnancy thus far, I am now sick to my stomach most of the day. Only one of my baby books speaks to the possibility of sickness happening this late.
I assume it is normal. Has anyone else experienced this? |
Yes, I think there was only a 4 weeks period, like between 22 and 26 weeks, when I wasn't at least somewhat naucious. Have you tried the Sea Bands? |
Try crystallized ginger. |
I'm 37 weeks and if I weren't on two different types of anti-nausea meds (the kind they give chemotherapy patients) I'd be vomiting daily still. In fact, I got sick on Saturday despite the meds. It just happens, unfortunately. If anything non-medical, ie ginger, crackers, whatever, work for you - great. But for some women, they dont get over the nausea until after the birth. If there's one thing I've learned with pregnancy it's that "normal" symptoms often seem like anything but normal. Good luck! |
I had some naseau inthe beginning - nothing terrible. Now at 37 weeks I feel naseau at the end of a long day. Very strange. But as PP said there are so many "Normal" / strange things that happen during pregnancy. Check with MD if concerned. |
I have been vomiting from week 6 to week 26. It got really bad around weeks 11 - 16 and was on Zofran regulary and now I take it only when needed. To help with the nausea, try eating pineapple or mangoes. Everyone has their own food but my friend recc. these and it helped (most of the time). |
