2024 Girls Lax WCAC ISL Outlook

SR is clearly at the top of the ISL with their only loss vs Visi in the regular season, which they avenged in the title game. They also beat SJC, PVI, SPSG & NDP.
Visi split with SR but beat all others. They also beat SJC twice & PVI.
SSSAS' only significant wins all season were against BI & PVI.
Potomac's only significant win all season was against PVI.

How do both teams look going into next year?

Visi loses two huge pieces. A lot easier to cover 2 stars.
SR seems to have suitable replacements for their seniors, at least talent wise

My daughter’s team played both, I would give the edge to SR. They are the deeper team. Visi has some stars but not quite as deep. You’re really splitting hairs though. Looking forward at the younger talent on both teams and what’s coming in, one would think the gap may widen.

Despite the ISL tourney win, SR's season didn't live up to the hype. GC was the class of the DMV this year.

Daughter played SR and Visi. They are both well coached teams, and have a lot of upper class talent with younger players getting time. SR backer def. was suffocating, really hard to deal with if you don’t have a team full of really capable girls. Visi mid line was what they lived and died on, probably could have been more well rounded offensively but still really talented.
Be proud of your daughters please, allow them to succeed and fail and not get caught up in the nonsense of this page. Just be cool people.

Well, GC plays in the WASHINGTON Catholic Athletic conference so they have to be associated with D.C.
