golf lessons for DH

I'd like to buy my DH golf lessons for father's day and Bday combined. I have no clue where to look, and we dont belong to a country club (shocking I know). We live in DC but he can go to MD or VA within reason...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

It probably depends how good of a golfer he is - I took group and private lessons at Hains Point. As a beginner, that was fine. I don't know how the pros are there for more advanced golfers (I had one sucky teacher and one really good one who had played college golf with Annika Sorrenson). Maybe call Washington golf center and see if they have recommendations if you don't get any here.

I know tons of people who've gone the Hains Point route and enjoyed it. They have quite a few instructors so he can try a few and see who's a good fit.

2nd Hains Point. I got my DH a gift certificate a few years ago to try out a couple of lessons.
