Ultrasound at first prenatal appt. w/Whitney Pinger?

Do the midwvives w/Whitney Pinger's practice at GWU typically have an ultrasound done at your initial prenatal visit? I'm seeing her (Whitney) next week when I'll be a little over 8 weeks and am curious... TIA!

Yes, I believe it is standard -- Whitney did one for my first appointment at 7.5 weeks. Congrats!

I had one with her at my 8-week appointment. She offered it and we accepted, but I don't think she would require it if you didn't want one.

OP here - many thanks for the replies I definitely want the u/s - was hoping that we would have it done right there at the appointment rather than having to make a separate appointment. I saw the docs at GW for my last pregnancy and my doctor did an ultrasound at the first appointment sort of on the fly, but for all other ultrasounds we made an appointment... so sounds like Whitney operates the same way. Thanks again!
