| we are thinking of repalcing our leaky windows and dealing with peeling lead paint at the same time. How much did it cost you per window (approx) and who did you use? |

| Make sure your installer includes lead mitigation - basically it means they seal the opening before removing the old window to prevent lead paint/dust from dispersing all over your house. Very few of the window companies I researched even mentioned this to me, but since I live in a 50 year old house it obviously is a consideration. The company that did mention it said it would add about $30 per window to the total cost, which seems very reasonable to me. |
