north springfield elementary?

Anyone have kids that go there or live in the neighborhood? We are looking for a SFH on a tight budget (under $425,000) and this seems like a neighborhood we could afford. We have a 2 year old daughter. I know that this area feeds to Poe and Annandale which get mixed reviews, but also that boundaries might be shifting to deal with the over-crowding and we're a long way from my DD being that age.

Any comments on the elementary school or neighborhood for a young family?

It's a great school, but the middle and high schools aren't that good.
