Recommend your Unitarian Universalist Church in lower Montgomery County

I would really like to start going to a UU church with my son, and I'm considering trying the River Road, Cedar Lane, or Rockville UU churches. I should probably just try each of them out, but I'd love to hear recommendations for each. Thanks!

We went to the one on River Rd a few times before my DC was born. Everyone was very welcoming and I really liked the vibe. Sorry, wish I had more details but haven't had a chance to go back yet.

Cedar Lane's senior minister and is moving on at the end of summer (after 18 years), as is the minister of religious education. We're hopeful about the transition, but you might want to know in advance that it's happening!

No advice, just a "good for you" - I became a UU about two years ago and am so happy I did.

Love Rockville - the children's program has wonderful teachers. My children are very happy there, and everyone is welcoming. It's a smaller congregation than River Road and meets at 10 a.m. instead of splitting between 9 and 11, so the kids get a chance to know everyone in their program (and you get to know more of the congregation). Plus there's a lovely sunny playground to play on after services. Highly recommend it.
