National Adoption Conference

Hello-
Has anyone ever attended the National Adoption Conference? My husband and I are considering adoption and thought this conference might be a good first step to get information. It's a the National Harbor this year and I just wondered if it was worth the money.

I have been to Barker Conferences. They just had theirs, as did Adoptions Together, so that is done for the year. Resolve is having a family building mini-conference

My impressions is that the National Harbor conference is more for professionals, but I may be wrong.


There are also monthly events (called informational meetings) at adoption agencies.

I recommend attending more than one informational meeting, go to several agencies.
