I haven't read the best things about this school- does anyone have any other experience/knowledge about it?

I'm not one of the previous posters but I remember my realtor saying that she had to be careful when discussing schools. I think the issue is that there could be a fine line with steering parents away or to certain schools based on racial composition of the school. If you decide you don't want to be in that school cluster because of X, that is different I think from a realtor saying "oh the school is bad". Then you ask why. Very easily it could be followed by oh the school has a high percentage of fill in the blank (racial, ESL, reduced lunch, gangs, all of the above etc.) You can see where this could be a slippery slope.

Nope. My agent didn't say anything about the racial composition about the neighborhood. Intsead, he said he was pullzed by the poor performance of the school given the high houing prices of the neiborhood,
