Please recommend a dentist

I think I have a cavity and need a dentist who will be kind. Preferably in DC and takes insurance but a dentist that won't judge me is most important. TIA

I would love to recommend a great dentist, although she is not in DC but in Ashburn. I drive almost 40 minutes to see her and she has changed my life. Since I was a child, I had a severe fear (not normal I don't think) of going to the dentist. Even in my 20s I would cry going through just a basic cleaning. (After a 6 year plus hiatus from going at all) - My friend recommended her (she does not have the fear issue I did, but has multiple, serious teeth problems).

Dr. Dina Bambrey is exceptional, kind, caring, and extremely patient. She is the best doctor I have ever seen and has gotten me through my cleanings tear free as well as a crown, and now we are doing cosmetic dentistry. My Mom really thought I was a lost cause and is amazed at the impact that Dr. Dina has had on me.

If you decide to see her, tell her Kate, her super nervous patient sent you!

Dr. Roca is located just off of the Claredon Metro station and is very nice. No judgements at all.

Dr. Paul Krainson - Conn Ave & Davenport St. Amazing guy - wonderful with my terrible dental fears. But closed on Fridays.

Dr. Fattahi in the Palisades, 338-7499. I've been going to him for a dozen years - he does good work and does not push anything cosmetic or unnecessary.
