Travel soccer parents are much worse than lax parents. Not even close.

No. Lacrosse parents are the bottom rung of humanity. Soccer parents aren't even in the same league.

Nope.

I have been involved with both soccer and lax at a high level. Lax is much worse. Look at all the lax threads, including this one on this board. Obnoxious lax parents are way worse than soccer parents in general. Isolated cases of loser soccer parents but not every team has an obnoxious parent where as with lax, it seems to be the norm

And you proved my point about the obnoxious attitude of soccer parents. They are the worst nightmares on the sidelines.

I've seen crazy, obnoxious sports at just about any type of sporting even, both male and femals sporting events.

Can we all agree that basketball parents are the best?

I wouldn't know, but could not imagine anything close to a lacrosse dad foaming from the mouth pacing the sidelines.

This may come as a shock, but I found little league to be refreshing and fun compared to youth soccer. Baseball seems to police the bad parent behavior better, and the wierdos tend to not blend in with the majority and just go sit somewhere else and keep their stats or whatever they do.

Have you been to an AAU tournament? Are you serious?

Maybe she has been to an AAU tournament and is serious. Two summers ago the police were called at the Crabfeast. An LI dad and a Baltimore dad got into a fistfight in the stands at Boys'Latin after a 9th grader game. We knew of both dads whose kids were also committed to ACC schools then and after. You're way off. There is no lower life form than a lacrosse dad. Love how those huge guts can keep squeezing into youth lacrosse tournament t-shirts.

Have your seen the terrible sportsmanship by parents at an AAU tournament? The things they shout at players, coaches, referees and each other is amazing. Lacrosse is nowhere near as bad as the thugs you see at these events.

And there it is again. Daddy name calling. My kid didn't get cut, but I do cut myself out and away from other lacrosse parents to the extent I can. Happy screaming on the NPYLL sidelines this fall guys. I should do a video of you guys and send it to the college coaches so they can see who they should avoid dealing with for years.

Oh wow that's a great idea actually--you could put music to it and the dad's stars like a highlight video -- please do it!!!
