my bellybutton is fire engine red?

This is so weird...I'm 12 weeks post partum (c-section) and my naval is fire engine red. Doesn't itch, just really, really red. Is this something to be worried about or something anyone else has experienced? I just got my period for the first time and wonder if they are somehow linked? No pain at all, just really looks red....TIA.
