Have you tried going through the infant toddler program? I found a great provider in my neighborhood in alexandria.

Are there requirements for parents to go through that program or can anyone do it? I tried to look on their website but it was down.

Anyone can do it and it looks like some people start looking pretty early. There's an information session you can go to. You can also look up providers on the website. It's very organized and starting next month, I will get billed directly from my bank account so one less thing to worry about.
