| One of our blinds broke in our living room and I am now looking to replace them. (I hated them anyway, so I'm glad to see them go.) I feel confident that I could measure and install them myself, so I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to look for good quality, good value blinds. Thanks for you help!! |
| blinds.com....same brands as the big name stores but much cheaper. Google for a coupon code, you will always find one. |

We just had next day blinds. The woman came to our home and gave us a 25% discount. Wood blinds with upgraded valance. It was a heck of a lot cheaper than the quote i got at next day blinds showroom.
The employee lives in Ellicott City, but drove all the way to Prince William. She measured every single window. They look AMAZING. Well worth the $$. |
For just one room, you can do it yourself. I couldn't but if you're a DIY kind of person you can. My friend did her whole house using JC Penny. They have coupons and sales on their window treatments, so look for those.

Good quality, low-end to high-end:
Mid to High-End/Designer: Hunter Douglas Mid-Range: Next Day Blinds Low-End: Ikea |
| If price is your biggest factor than Star Decorating is your best bet, they have pretty good discounts from time to time on specific products, just google them for the codes. If you want more "frills" such as support, customer service, etc. check out Blinds galore. Hope this helps! |
