Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers

Seems like most of the community pools around here (MoCo) require that an infant wear both those disposable swim diapers and a non-disposable one on top. Having not been to a pool with db yet, is this rule strictly enforced? I'm having a tough time finding the non-disposable swim diapers with a matching top for girls, and I would really like her to wear a top as well for protection. If it were cute, so much the better.
Anyone have any recommendations online or in stores? |

| I think iplay makes ones that you're talking about. Babycenter carries them. Another option is to buy those vinyl training pants and put it over the diaper and then a swimsuit over those of those things. That's what was specified by our pool. |
| I always did the swim diaper with a bathing suit over. |
| One Step Ahead has what you're talking about (non-disposable swim diaper pants, tankini tops)...but I agree with one of the PPs who referenced the plastic pants over the swim diaper. I think that's what the pools want. A few years ago, I bought lots of those at Buy Buy Baby. |

OP here: can anyone post a link to one of these plastic pants so I have an idea what these are vs the non-disposable swim diaper?
Thanks! |

I just ordered my son some swim diaper trunks made by iplay. I ordered them (and a shirt and sunglasses) from Bambino Mountain online. Flap Happy also makes them. (Sold in some boutiques or can Google sites online.)
