cedar fencing

We are looking to replace our old fence in our backyard. I got a quote from Long Fence yesterday for pressure treated wood, but I really like the look of cedar fencing. However, the Long Fence guy did not seem to like it at all and said it would not be under their lifetime warranty if we got it. Does anyone have a cedar fence - how is the quality? Also, I know it costs more than regular wood fences, but how much more? Thanks!

Ours smelled and looked great for the 1st year. Now it's 5 years later, sun bleached gray and looks just like any other ordinary fence. I don't recall the premium, but if I had to do it again would not spend the extra $$. My 2 cents.
