First Communion Menu?

We are thinking about a First Communion lunch. What would you serve? Thanks.

My mom was invited to a neighbor child's First Communion and she made sugar cookies cut out with a cross-shaped cookie cutter. She frosted them with white icing and put a tiny bit of sparkly sugar on them.
They were a big hit!

Honestly ... I'd have a hard time biting into a crucifix cookie?

I go for brunch ideas -- mini quiche, sliced ham, salad, etc. Think "spring" Easter foods.

Get or make a sheet cake with some spring-like colors. I like pps ideas for foods...I would add some appetizers to the list--bruchettas, dips/chips/veges/fruits, mini meatballs, etc.
