Not trying to be glib but this is how my teen sounds when he doesn't take his ADHD meds. Talking a mile a minute, goes off on weird tangents, sometimes doesn't make much sense. Affleck strikes me as someone who lacks impulse control. I wouldn't be surprised if he has untreated ADHD.

I hate to armchair diagnose, but cheating and alcohol/drug abuse is common in those with untreated ADHD.

Could be. If I was in PR and he was my client or I was managing him at all, I would be super pissed. He needs to medicate (assuming it is safe with his history of addiction?) before interviews.

I hope that is all it was. But I'm not so sure. I am not a fan but am rooting for him to stay clean. Man Jen Garner must have been through it. Can't imagine living with/parenting with this guy.

I 100% guarantee you that they are not spending *any* time picking out outfits. She has a stylist doing this for her, and now that she's with Ben, she's picking out his outfits as well. There's a reason you don't see him coming out of Dunkin looking like a schlub any more. JLo has an entire team devoted to making sure she looks good at all times.

Right and boyfriends become an extension of herself in her own mind, so she feels no qualms about making them/him over. It's similar to how stage mothers dress up their daughters for shows....the lines of separation and reality that they are two separate human beings gets very blurry. It's above and beyond what typical celebrities do. People sense that and it is what ultimately makes the public turn on them too. It's contrived.

The juxtaposition of his new impeccable clothing, control and high style with his internal tendencies toward chaos, mess and impulsively paints a wierd disturbing picture that does not ring true. It's like he's wearing a costume for a performance. Why lopez misses this or thinks people don't actually know he is a hot mess is beyond me. I guess it's part of her fantasy.

It’s definitely typical Jlo, but in a way maybe it’s a lesser evil for Ben. He obviously needs some kind of control in his life to help keep himself in line, the question will be how long it lasts before he resents it and it makes him feel “trapped” like he did in his marriage to Jennifer garner. It’s funny how he exited his engagement to Jlo for garner, and is now claiming he felt trapped with the latter and went back to Jlo.

Yes, selective memory or now coming down the wire from her, when in reality he often spoke afterward of how overwhelming the media attention was with her, though of course she and he fuel and feed that beast, then and now, they are both so full of sh"t.

He's going to get engulfed again by her lifestyle and how she lives her life (over the top) and eventually he will leave or make it impossible for her to stay. It might be a year or three. But there's little likelihood he can be with her conflict free. He's not that person. And I think it's so telling that he has to state out loud his dedication to his kids over and over (for us? For him?) For most people this is such a given it never has to be stated. Only for a deeply conflicted person like himself does it have to be reiterated in different settings and forms.

If they didn’t want all the media attention, don’t ask for it. I guess most of America falls for this idea that they are out and about without wardrobe planning, etc. When you don’t want attention, you find ways to make it work. Taylor Swift does this now. Jlo could, too, if she wanted.

He looks healthy, relaxed and at peace. Better than he looked his entire marriage and into his rehab time post-marriage.

Yes, he does look weird, not bad, but weird. Perhaps just overdoing it on the spray tan and some (IMO unnecessary) fillers/work.
