George Mason transfer

Iam looking for options of moving so that my child gets into George mason elementary school in akexandria. If I an outside the boundary , is there a possibility to sign DC in this school . I have heard of administrative transfer. Does anyone know what this means?

If you are outside the boundary, my understanding is that George Mason is considered to be "at capacity," so it is no longer taking administrative transfers. I believe that MacArthur has the same situation--no administrative transfers because of being "at capacity." I would call the Office of Pupil Services just to be sure, though. Good luck.
