When did your nausea begin to subside?

Anonymous
I'm actually a little worried because I'm almost 12 weeks and today I had no nausea for the first time in many weeks. I've heard if symptoms suddenly stop it can signal a miscarriage. Thanks

It's different for everyone/every pregnancy. Just wait, it will probably come back.

I had crazy nausea from 4-11 weeks and then felt better almost all of a sudden and felt well for the rest of the pregnancy.

OP here. PP, please take your perspective and shove it up your ass. I've had five miscarriages prior to this pregnancy and I am very worried. I'm looking for support, not attitude. No, I haven't had HG, but I have had five pregnancies end abruptly. When you experience that, get back to me.

OP, I think 12 weeks is a pretty common time for things to start improving because you're close to the 2nd trimester. Please try not to worry!

Last pregnancy everything improved around 10.5wks. I read that the placenta is taking over at the end of the first trimester which changed your hormonal balance. stay optimistic OP. if you are nervous, ask your doc to check the heartbeat.

OP you start your second trimester next week! Congrats you are probably past the nausea of the first trimester.

I had bad morning sickness that subsided between the 14th and 15th week.

At 9.5 weeks my morning sickness was gone overnight. Had my nuchal a few weeks later and the little tease was doing somersaults the entire time they were performing the sonogram - could barely get a measurement. A sudden end to the nausea is no cause to worry.

For me at twelve weeks it went away miraculously. OP I had losses too. However everything was fine when the nausea subsided. My doctor assured me of that too. I have felt fine ever since. I really don't understand why posters like 22:53 feel the need to do that. Honestly I don't know what is wrong with some people. OP, I wish you all the best.

Mine ended around 13 weeks. I think 12 weeks is pretty normal. The second tri is much more enjoyable!

mine went away at 4 months, but then returned (not nearly as bad) at the end of the 3rd trimester.javascript:void(0);

Mine got mostly better around 12 weeks, and then yet better over the course of a few more weeks.

My best to you for a healthy pregnancy.

14 weeks, but I had good days every now and then in between. When I freaked out that I must have been having a miscarriage, my doctor said, "Its ok to have a good day!" Hold on to that and good luck!
