Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| Did anyone have very early pregnancy symptoms (as in before AF is due)? It's probably just PMS but I have this weird cramping, some diarrheah and extra CM. Would love to hear if anyone had super early indications....thanks! |
| the wierd cramping started about 7 DPO for me, sure enough 11 DPO the test was positive. Both times. |
| I felt bloated and crampy. I was sure I wasn't pregnant b/c I felt so PMS-y. |
| HEARTBURN!!! It started early and NEVER went away. I'm due in 2 weeks....and still feeling it! |
| Breast tenderness and cramping |
| So random, but for me it was bloody noses. I never get them (had my nose cauterized when I was in high school because I frequently had terrible bloody noses), but about 5 days before AF was due, I started having a small bloody nose in the morning. Got my BFP the day AF was due, and my son is almost 6 months old! |
| For me, the first sign was an incredibly heightened sense of smell. My husband and I were walking through a mall and every store seemed to have its own unique fragrance to me. My husband didn't smell a thing. I went home and took a pregnancy test. Voila. |
Same here but also had extreme fatigue-starting around day 9. I always knew I was pregnant when I had both of these symptoms. |

sore boobs |
| Very sleepy. Heightened sense of smell. Mild crampiness. LOTS of phlegmy throat in the morning (I'm guessing because my body is creating mucus to form the mucus plug in my cervix). All this started around 6-7 days after ovulation. With the other two I also had really sore nipples, but I don't have that at all this time (maybe because I'm breastfeeding still?). Right now I'm 17 dpo, and got the BFP the first day I tested, which was right on day 14. |
| I was very nauseous starting about 4 days before I missed my period, that's how we found out we were pregnant (it was a surprise). |
What's BFP? |
|
BFP=Big Fat Positive
BFN=Big Fat Negative DPO= Days Past Ovulation (which is the same as the number of days past conception, since you conceive on the day you ovulate - NOT necessarily on the day you had sex. Sperm can live up to 5 or 6 days; eggs can only live 12-24 hours). CM= Cervical Mucus AF = Aunt Flo, your period |
| Thanks PP. I'm new to this. What is BD? I know it is related to intercourse but am not sure what it stands for. |
| BD=Baby Dance, which means having sex! |
