ISO delicious, pretty cupcakes in Silver Spring...any mompreneurs out there?

| I'd love to serve beautiful cupcakes at my daughter's christening lunch in a few weeks, but I don't feel like paying G'town Cupcake prices. Do any of you know of any local moms who are great bakers and sell their wares? Or alternatively, any ideas for a local shop where cupcakes don't cost a small fortune? Thanks so much! |

I have a friend who is a professional baker, and custom cupcakes are her specialty. She works outside the home, but she said she would be glad to accept work from the listserv for custom cupcakes and cookie-pops. You can reach her at: tammydgriffin@yahoo.com.
