My dad recently suggested that if I have any more children, I should consider the name Burlap. He said it'd be good for a boy or a girl.
Um, yeah... The thing is, 10 years ago when he suggested the first name Jackson, I thought he was ridiculous - and now I hear it all the time! Maybe he is a good with name trends, who knows.... |
| BIL was almost named Urban |
| It sounds a bit too sack-like for either gender. How about BagTax? I think that would work for a boy or a girl. |
| Why not just make her middle name "bag" while you're at it. |

I think he meant it's equally good for a boy or a girl.

| If you name a kid Burlap, he could grow up to be rough around the edges. |
Are you sure you're not thinking of the name Slinky? |
| It worked for Burl Ives. |
| Jute is a lovely name, and very fashionable. |
I dunno, that's like ensuring your DC will grow up to be treated like a doormat. I prefer Persian, but that would only work for a girl. |

"Burlap": Hmm I like the sound of that. It'll be fitting for when his peers throw a sack over his head and beat him with sticks every day at recess.
How about "Seven"? |
| I named my daughter after Six from Blossom. |
Weird! I named my son Sixx after Nikki Sixx. |
Ha ha
