Baby name - Burlap

Anonymous
My dad recently suggested that if I have any more children, I should consider the name Burlap. He said it'd be good for a boy or a girl.

Um, yeah...

The thing is, 10 years ago when he suggested the first name Jackson, I thought he was ridiculous - and now I hear it all the time! Maybe he is a good with name trends, who knows....

BIL was almost named Urban

It sounds a bit too sack-like for either gender. How about BagTax? I think that would work for a boy or a girl.

Why not just make her middle name "bag" while you're at it.

I think he meant it's equally good for a boy or a girl.

If you name a kid Burlap, he could grow up to be rough around the edges.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the name Slinky?

I dunno, that's like ensuring your DC will grow up to be treated like a doormat. I prefer Persian, but that would only work for a girl.

"Burlap": Hmm I like the sound of that. It'll be fitting for when his peers throw a sack over his head and beat him with sticks every day at recess.

How about "Seven"?

I named my daughter after Six from Blossom.
