Jane (nn Janie)
Paige
Holly
Molly
Margaret (nn Maggie)

I like girly, feminine sounding names but want it to sound good as an adult name too.

Honestly - I love all of these. I am not sure you can go wrong here. All pretty, easy to spell and pronounce, nothing too popular or too out there. All stable, strong, feminine names. Great job!

Having said all of that, my personal favorites are Jane and Margaret. I also love Molly, but it doesn't sound as grown up as some of the others. Paige would be my least favorite, but that is only because of some negative sorority-sister associations. :o)

I like them all ok. None would have been on my personal top 10 - but they are all pretty good names. I'm only responding because I saw you have Holly and Molly and Paige - just thought I might suggest Polly (sort of a combo of these). My best friend growing up was Polly Marie.

I love Jane and Holly, but they are all nice. Come on, give us something terrible to make fun of!

Will one also be a middle name?

I vote for Holly Molly.

Love them all, esp. Margaret.

Jane or Margaret, by far!

Paige is less feminine to me, while Holly/Molly sound young.

I really dislike Jane and Holly, but love all the rest.

I like them all. I know adult women with all of these names and all are really great, cool people. The only one who has any sort of issue with her name is Molly, who said she got tired of people singing "Good Golly Miss Molly" to her when she was a kid. But I doubt someone named Molly today would have that problem.

I want to say that your name ideas are about a billion times better than most ones I hear right now. My preference is Jane or Margaret because those are the most classic but still not overused.

I don't like Holly or Molly, but the others are nice. You could probably swing Molly as a nn for Margaret if you wanted.

To PP and OP - Molly is a pretty common nn for Margaret - so that might just be your answer.

I have a Jane and a Margaret so naturally those are my favorites!
