We are having a handful of people(kids and adults) over this weekend and I wanted to have some appetizers available. I will have to leave the appetizers out for a couple of hours, since people will be coming and going. Any ideas for appetizers that will not get nasty if left out?
So far I have come up with Salsa and Nachos.... |

olive platter
apple slices (toss with pineapple juice to prevent browning), with caramel dip or cheese slices grapes hard sausages chex mix (so 70s, but so yummy) if you have a small crock pot or chafing dish, mini meatballs or cocktail sausages (retro, very popular) If you have the bandwidth, pick up some frozen appetizers from Trader Joes and do one every 30 minutes for a little variety. |

A good antipasta platter always goes over well! If you like that type of thing get:
-salami -proschutto -fresh mozz cheese cut or small balls -provolone -roasted red pepers -olives -crakers and bread Just put on a big platter and thats it! Its soo yummy! |
| If you're feeling lazy, try Pillsbury's spinach and cheese frozen pasty puffs. I think they're called Savorings? I served these among other homemade foods during a brunch and everybody loved them. |
