What type of school for an active boy

Anonymous
My DS is a very active preschooler. He has some trouble with circle time and staying on task. I'm having a hard time deciding between a progressive environment and one that is more traditional. Any thoughts?

I think "active prescholer" is redundant when describing boys. At least it is for mine who are 2.5 and 4.5. That is normal and both environments tend to have pluses and minuses. Which are you at home? Perhaps you want a change from that at school or you'd rather reinforce that at school? We are more traditional at home and their teachers have been a little bit of both. The older once is getting more and more mature with his choices. Sitting still gets much easier when they get a little older.

Ask his teachers; we got good advice from ours.
