If you've been there what do you think? What did you have? Was it good? I heard the milkshakes are incredible.

Let me know your impressions. My SIL is coming into town and I want to take her somewhere fun.

We went a while ago (last summer) and it was very good. Huge portions. The food is very diner style - grilled cheese, sloppy joes, etc. so it's hard to go too wrong.

We live in the neighborhood and we like Ted's. Great pastries. Yes, the milkshakes are good... although, how can you really go wrong with a milkshake? I'm surprised the pp said the portions were "huge" though... certainly not at breakfast they aren't. Last time I went I swear I had about six hash browns on my plate. Made me very sad.
