Beauty and Fashion

I just found a cute pair at DSW and they are really comfy. I never had a pair before, but once I got home I started to think that maybe they are about to be out of fashion or something and I should get my $70 back.
I'm not a trend-master at all (obviously!) but don't want to appear totally clueless or desperate, just slightly. Haha. Should I return them, you think? |
| I think I've seen some celebs recently wearing them on photos here or there, if that means anything. I've never owned a pair, but if you like them and they're on sale, I'd just keep and enjoy 'em. |
| Regardless of fashion, they make yr legs look short and don't even flatter gisele! Don't do it! |
| Personally I think that ship has sailed and agree that they are not very flattering. Unless your man is into Roman legionnaires... |

One of the most hideous fashion trends in recent years.
I was in DSW and could not find any cute sandals b/c they are still all this style. So ugly and rarely flattering to anyone. |

Ha! Thanks. I definitely love the honest replies, this forum is great for getting to the hard truth that friends won't tell you to your face!
I think my husband may have thrown out the box, so I may be stuck with them regardless. I was planning on wearing them with longer types of skirts or dresses, as opposed to shorts. I agree about the shortening effect---but I get bored with just flip flops, so what the heck. |
| UGLY |
| I agree....just AWFUL.... |
My 6 year old just bought a pair at Target, so I'd say they are out.

Were they ever IN?! Not on my size 9 feet!
|
| Not attractive, IMO. |
| I totally disagree. I like fashion though. I really like gladiator sandals (how high are we talking though?). They are still in this season. And FWIW, they are a much nicer alternative to flip flops. It kills me to see people running around in flip flops and dressier clothes when there are so many sandal options out there. |
| i like them. i agree with 10:24 poster on her points. |
