New "to" Kindle and I cannot find "The Two Towers" - Help!

How is that even possible? I bought The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring but I can't find "The Two Towers" (books 3 and 4), although they do have the last book of the "trilogy" (The Return of the King). They are all offered by the same publisher, so it doesn't make sense to me that they would skip one book?!

If you bought it to your kindle, can you post the link please?

Go to amazon and hunt around and see if it's offered on kindle, or if it has a release date for kindle. If you find it there you can it directly sent to your kindle from the website.

I love the LOTR trilogy and have read and re-read it countless times but have heard it said that The Two Towers is the slowest book of the three-- and that many people skip it -- sadly I'm not surprised it's not on Kindle yet.

OP here with an "update" is anyone is interested..... They had it available until recently (Feb. 2011) when it was discontinued due to lots of complaints about typographic errors. So, until the publish fix this problem, it won't be available for purchase as an ebook in the US. I tried buying the one from UK but I have to live there (and provide a valid address).

Bummer! I had read these books when the first movie came out and I remember not liking the second one very much - but since I am reading the "trilogy" again.... Oh well, I just watched the movie yesterday night since I couldn't buy the book. Now I will read the last one.
