ISO punch recipe (with alcohol)

I have never made a punch cocktail before and I am looking for a recipe to make for a party on Saturday.

Sangria is the classic alcoholic "punch" and there are lots of fruit & wine combinations. Here are a few ideas:

I got a great one!!! Loved by all the Bunco moms....

1. 1 large soda container of ginger ale
2. 1 bottle champagne
3. 1 container berry flavored sherbet or sorbet
4. 1 bag frozen mixed berries

Make at least 45 mins before guests arrive so the sorbet can melt and mix in. Might have to work on it and split it up with a spoon.
