Please recommend reading on social skills

My 4 year old has Asperger's and is doing well in school socially, or about as well as a child with AS could be expected to do at this age. Anywhere outside of the classroom, however, she has serious trouble participating in play and following conversations and it's starting to really upset her. I'm trying to find a social skills group that will fit her, but in the meantime I'd like to do some reading on ways I can possibly help her improve her confidence, lower her anxiety, and really just have more fun. Thanks for any suggestions, I feel pretty helpless at this point.
