Braxton Hicks

I have had a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions in the last week or so and I am about 36 weeks. Some episodes last for more than 2 hrs. Does anyone know if the increased frequency or occurance of these contractions at all relates to when you may deliver?

Not sure about relating to labor, but I am 37 weeks and mine have increased in frequency and intensity. Sometimes they are 10 minutes apart but after drinkng water and resting in a chair for a bit, they subside, plus no other major symptoms. Wish I could be of more help.

I'm also 36 weeks and am having more frequent BH contractions. My doctor told me that, no, it is not an impending sign of labor but a very common sign that your body is practicing for labor, which it should be doing at 36 weeks.
