So maybe its the sunshine or maybe its that I've started to allow myself one tall, decaf iced americano every morning but I'm feeling GREAT lately.
I'm 15 1/2 weeks and I'm almost smack dab in the middle of having seen my little gymnast on the jumbotron at the 12 week sono and the upcoming 20 week check of parts. I'm not feeling anything yet in terms of movement and it just feels odd that I'm feeling so good. Is this typical? I know I should just enjoy and go with it but without any external validation scheduled for awhile, my brain starts to doubt when things are going too well. Thanks for indulging my neurosis! |
Very typical. Around week 14-15-my fatigue was gone and I no longer felt sick. It literally happened over a weekend. I'm AMA-so I was very concerned. I now have a 16 month old. |
it's fine. by 15 weeks, i felt great too. enjoy it! |
Totally normal -- I started feeling great around week 14, and it will get even better soon, when you start feeling him/her move, have the 20-week sonogram (especially if you find out the sex, which we did), and start to show (I loved finally looking pregnant and not just feeling fat).
Then, right around 29 weeks, I started to get a little back pain, and it is steadily getting worse... so enjoy the sweet spot of the second trimester while it lasts! |
for what it's worth, i started feeling better at 15 weeks, and at 35 weeks tomorrow, i still feel fine. huge and unwieldy, but fine! |
OP, I could have written your post! I too am 15 1/2 weeks and feelin' great. A bit of back pain (existed pre-pregnancy as well) and I get fatigued more quickly when I exercise, but I feel great especially compared to weeks 6 through 10.
I go to the doctor next week and can't wait to hear the heartbeat, to make sure the little guy or gal is still in there! ![]() |
Thanks everyone - will focus on enjoying this time and the lovely weather (God I'm fearing August in DC at 7 months pg) and try to relax.
Have a great evening! |
