FYI: "College Bridge" summer program for going-on-9th graders

Just an FYI for anybody with an 8th grader (or anybody who wants to volunteer):

[i]FLOC is recruiting for its summer program for rising 9th graders. We
want to make sure all of DC's current 8th graders, parents, and
community members know about the program!

For the past forty years, FLOC has been working to serve the children
and families of D.C. We are located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood,
and are very excited to introduce “College Bridge.” College Bridge is
a FREE six week multi-disciplinary summer program targeting 25-rising
9th graders. College Bridge will incorporate language arts,
mathematics, leadership, and a college preparatory curriculum five
days a week from 9-5pm. Participants will review and build upon core
academic skill-sets, develop leadership skills, and prepare for a
successful transition to high school. College Bridge will be held at
FLOC’s office; 1763 Columbia Road Northwest, beginning June 23rd.
