Anonymous
Now available for pickup in Arlington, Alexandria and DC are eggs from hens living on pasture at local "Abundance Farm" in Round Hill, VA.
Farmer Jamie Pantel loves her laying hens of various natural, heritage breeds. The birds live free range on quality pasture, and they sleep in well-bedded coops.
Jamie uses organic production methods and solar technology.
Abundance Farm is a sustainable, diversified family farm raising chicken, turkey and sheep, and it is open to visitors.
If you seek fresh, organic eggs from humanely treated hens living on pasture at a local, sustainable family farm, these are the eggs for you!
Eggs are $5 for one dozen, and $3 for half a dozen.
Any quantity of eggs can be ordered.
Weekly delivery is available to ensure freshness.

A farm visit is scheduled for April 3rd.

Wow -- come to Maryland, Jamie!

We eat lots of eggs and I buy organic ones but they are often over $4.00 a dozen at Giant. And somehow I think those chickens aren't having a very nice life.
