Milk left out- toss it?

Anonymous
So for some reason, the checker packed a half-gallon of skim milk in the bag with six bottles of wine when I went to the store on Tuesday- even though I asked him to only put wine in that bag. Get home, take wine bag downstairs to our makeshift wine cellar and leave it thinking "I'll organize and unpack these this weeekend." Not lazy, just busy, sleep deprived mom. Go down there this morning and find the milk in the bag. It's unopened and sealed, and the basement temp hasn't been above 68. Should I toss it, or do you think it might still be good? This is milk just for DH and me, if it was for DC of course I would toss immediately!

Open it and sniff. I suspect the answer will be pretty apparent.
