Folks this is it: the MAGA civil war. Trump realizes the monied powers behind the GOP are trying to dump him for Vance. This is the formal breakup between Trump and RW media. Holy sh#t. Get ready for Trump’s Night of the Long Knives. |
Hmmm, let's see where this goes. The WSJ had to have know that Trump was going to make this move. I can't imagine that their plan was to publish this piece and then pay an inevitable settlement. I don't think this is going the obvious direction that Trump thinks it's going. |
Maybe they’ll dump him for Vance but Vance will just be another Andrew Johnson. No one really likes him and the country will want him gone within a few months. Too much eyeliner. Can’t trust a man with so much eyeliner unless he’s a Goth or Alice Cooper. |
Reminds me of how Alan Dershowitz successfully bullied his underage accuser into silence. Probably also got Mossad involved. |
Fox has settled already for 15 billion and a non compete agreement. |
There is no maga civil war. They only live for Trump. |
Filed it in loose cannons district. Obviously hoping for his favorite hack judge |
How can you sue for $10 billion for reputational harm when your reputation is already shit? He’s been found legally liable for sexual abuse; being accused of sending bawdy birthday wishes to a known associate of his is less damaging to his reputation than that. |
Just have to get the “right” judge on the case. Just like he did on the other cases. The rocket docket is easily manipulated/pay to play. |
He’s hoping they settle because they’re afraid of him taking FOX’s broadcast license. But I assure you they didn’t run this without consulting their attorneys for days, and without having cast iron proof. On a legal basis they cannot lose. But Murdoch might not have the appetite for the right, the way CBS didn’t. |
Exactly. |
Stop it with your break-up theory. The majority of MAGA is loyal to Trump. Also, to another PP, of course the WSJ knew Trump was going to sue. It says so in the article. He was reached for comment, and he told them he would sue if they published. And on that point, history shows he's a man of his word. So obviously WSJ has the goods to back up their claim. The question is, are Murdoch and the editor going to quash the intrepid reporters and settle with Trump? I hope not. |
Yeah, okay. “Memory fuzzy” |
They fell out over a business dealing in Florida. Not anything else. |
