does this happen to others?
when watching a streaming netflix program, the feed will freeze up and say "loading." sometimes when it does this, it won't go back to playing the show for a long time or even at all that evening. just me? |
| We haven't had this happen. |
Who is your Internet service provider? There are rumors that some providers are limiting Netflix traffic. |
| Sometimes i have to reload. Sometimes i have to reboot my wireless router. |
| That used to happen A LOT! when we used comcast. Since we changed to VERIZON it hasn't happened yet (we have been customers for only 6 months though.) |
| It could be the speed of your internet. If it used to be fine and it just started happening that's it not that. We have comcast and used to have these issues with the Roku box but never once I hooked up the Wii to watch Netflix. |
| This happened to me several times last night. Had to close the browser, re-login about 7 times until I got something to load. I have Comcast. |
| It used to happen to us a lot but then we switched to the fastest level cable connection available. Now, it happens only rarely. When it does, though, it is super annoying. I've heard too that providers can ration the amount of room provided to netflix and other streaming providers like Amazon.com. Some nights are worse than others. |
| It could be wireless router issue. Can you run a line out of your computer to your TV and see if that fixes it? |
| NP here - we have Fios, and, wierdly, this issue happens when we stream through Tivo, but not when we stream through Wii. It also seems to happen more often when my husband is online for work (maybe interfering signals??) |
| We don't have this problem except on rare occasion. We have fios. |

We have Fios and stream Netflix through apple TV. The netflix movies/shows freeze up on us all the time. SO annoying!
It has never happened when we have purchased a movie/show through apple TV. |
comcast |
| Nothing but problems using Comcast to stream through Tivo. Freezes on Tivo requiring Tivo reboot then also needs to reboot local net. Unusable! |
| I use a Roku and it has only happened when it's connected wirelessly. We have it on a wired connection usually. We have Cox. |
